'Look From Afar'

Inspired by a quote from the sculptor Bernini on proximity, the duet explores the distance between two bodies in space, transforming the action into dance movement. The atmosphere recalls a rehearsals setting in an undefined place. The rhythm is marked by silence, the sounds of the train, and the arpeggios of a ballad. There are few elements on stage, a direct physical language, and a constant tension between listening and confrontation.

In human relationships, it is increasingly difficult to find authenticity and spontaneity. Connecting with others, but above all with oneself, seems like an impossible goal to achieve.
The choreography results from the contrast between chaos and balance, two opposing forces that coexist and attract each other. Chaos represents the multiplicity of inner voices, the noise of the contemporary world; balance is the attempt to bring order, to rediscover a form, a rhythm, a direction.
The movement of the bodies manifests the search for an optimal solution, a point where instability becomes the driver of discovery. Dance becomes a journey and an attempt to find meaning in the flow.

'A Way Back'

After a journey filled with encounters, experiences, and changes, the performer returns to where he started, bringing with him what he has learned.
Through this free improvised solo, the body reconstructs a dialogue with space, with memory, and with the possibility of a new beginning.
A Way Back is the desire to start again, at the very point where it all began.
